Any word on Alexis?

My bet is Alexis plays next year, wont happen this year.

Alexey had a rough start today against Notre Dame after getting to South Bend at 330 this morning. Hope he has a better showing at Louisville.

That's too bad. Looks like a top 20 kind of year.

I was one of the guys screaming about how bad the bottom of the lineup was earlier in the season, but if you look at our 3 losses it is our top 3 that is killing us. We were all counting on Connor, Austin and Will being dominant in singles, but that just has not been the case. They have a combined record of 2 wins and 7 losses in our 3 dual match losses. 1-2 against Florida, 0-3 against Texas and 1-2 against Notre Dame.

If those guys get back on track we can still be pretty good. Hopefully Alexey can at least win 50% of his matches at #4 and Lunt the same at #5. I don't think we are going to win many at #6 no matter who plays out of Hoover, Karimi and Klores.

So long story short, get our 3 big guns back on track and we are still a top 15 team.

all of the matches went pretty much as i expected except for #2. i thought austin would have that one in straight sets. i knew conor would have his hands full...brett isn't as talented as his brother but he has a huge backhand and is a fighter. casey watt was a tough first match for grigorov. he's probably one of the hottest freshmen in the country, something like a 17-3 record so far.

we have struggled indoors for the past few years. it would be a big boost to finish off these next 3 matches strong and end the indoor season with a 2-2 or 3-1 record.
