Big 12 Soccer Preview in today's DMN (hard copy--help with link appreciated) written by Graham Watson contains the following quote:

"Long considered to be the stepchild to Texas despite its 13-0 record against the Longhorns, A&M earned the top billing..."

I think a certain writer needs a reality check on which program has the better history. A&M is undefeated against tu, went to the elite eight last year and begins this season ranked #5 in the nation.

Seems that we have a more than a little media bias at work here.

Congrats to Coach G and the team on the overall excellence of the program.

Dear Editor,

Graham Watson writes (Aug. 29 on-line edition) that the Texas A&M women's soccer team has "long been in the shadow of the University of Texas", even though A&M has a 13-0 all-time record vs. UT, which he fails to mention.

Your newspaper is a joke. If you compromise your basic ethics on inconsequential matters (e.g. for the sake of "pumping up one's alma mater" ), on what basis will you make the really important decisions? This brings into question your overall credibility as a news source. In today's saturated news market, that's bad news for you.
