If he could find a fairway consistently, the guy would never lose. That's the main battle I'm curious to see play out and will greatly impact how many majors he collects in the future. His iron play and especially his work around the greens is amazing, but he starts out behind the 8-ball off the tee too much. I'm guessing that will remain the main struggle in his game for the rest of his career - it's usually not an issue that just goes away. But if he were to get back to hitting around 70% of fairways again, then watch the F out.

I agree... which is why I was shocked to suddenly see him hit about 70% for 3 straight tournaments, and then shocked again to see him spray it all over Turnberry. As scary as it sounds, Tiger really hasn't put it all together yet, and often times has had bad putting weeks when he did strike it well. I think we'll still see some 8 stroke victories from him over the next few years when he does combine driving and putting in the same week.

In stroke play he has 8 top 10's out of 9 tournaments, winning three.

Tiger now has 9 top 10's in 10 Tournaments and has won 4 of them. Winning 40% of your stroke play tournaments is pretty good in my opinion. I think he still has it.

he's still not up to his winning percentages from the past 3 years. i'll believe it when he is facing a stacked field in a major (the only tournaments that truly matter to him). a win is a win, but he wasn't facing any big-name challengers this week. still impressive though.

If you were talking about 2002-2005 and how he played I could understand, but no one even compares to him in the game today. Maybe he does not win every event, but no one else is in his league that is why he is #1 on the money list, #1 in FedEx Points and still #1 in the world while playing in the least amount of tournaments.

Padraig triple bogies the 16th with a 1-shot lead. Tiger birdies to take a 3-shot lead. What a turn of events!

Looks like Tiger will get his 2nd win in a row heading into the PGA Championship. Next week should be interesting.

yeah... he's really lost it. I hope when it's all said and done he has over 100 victories and 25 Majors.

As good as he is, he's still human...just had a horrible day. If he shoots par today, they go to a playoff. Asking Tiger to shoot par anywhere is not a tall order.
