You can get to the link on standings and such through the Track section on AggieAthletics. I'd post a link, but my company's firewall doesn't let it through.

I don't think much is happening today. Men's decathlon, track 10K. Tomorrow afternoon things start picking up.

Is anything tomorrow televised?

They usually post a 2-3 hour recap show the next week or 2 after, because of the long breaks in between events. May be televised on live on the big 12 network website.

I think things look pretty promising for the Ags. I talked to a friend who said that two of Baylor's best 400 men were out of the meet. That moves our guys up and we will win the mile relay. We have a great shot at the men's title and should have no problem getting the two points versus Texas in the Lone Star standings.

Baylor's Boyd and Betters are not in the 400. However, I still have the Husker men winning by a landslide. Same with the Aggie women.

I will recheck my math.

Nebraska also has several missing that could have scored because you can only bring a limited number. They are not doing well in decathlon also.

I'm counting just the individuals on the Start List.

I have the Nebraska men scoring at least 150 points and the Aggie women scoring around 150.

I will recheck.

Looks like we did better than expected in the men's long jump - 2nd, 4th, & 5th for 16 pts. LV311's estimate was 4 pts.

Looks like we are in good shape to beat tu, but Nebraska is way out in front (in the men's).

correct...only 5 of 21 women's finals are complete, and only 7 for the men...plus, most of our better events have finals today!

Women should win, and men will have a hard time catching the Huskers, but will hopefully finish ahead of t.u.!

The surprise of the meet for us is the MEN's long jump. We ranked 6th, 7th, 11th, and 16th in the Big 12 so far this season and finished 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 11th. All four did better than expected. Julian narrowly missed first place (0.03m). He was in first place going into the final jump (6th jump). The jumpers usually do much better in the triple jump and should get more than the 16 points they earned in the long jump.

Vashti Thomas, who had the best time in the Big 12 in the 100h, did not start the race. Mayo now becomes the favorite but we will lose about 8 expected points in this event. I am still hoping we hit the 150 mark. Vashti did well in the long jump finishing 4th for 5 points. Vashti took only four jumps.

Trinity Otto had an excellent performance in the decathlon. His weakest of the 10 events is the last event - 1500m. He finished 10th in it but still held on to finish 3rd overall.

I don't think Chris Dykes ran the 100m all season, but did yesterday and made the finals. Excellent career for him at Aggieland.

Freshman Dominique Duncan made the finals in both the 100 & 200. She has made steady progress in the sprints all year.

MEN:
Although we lag behind Nebraska, we have put some distance between tu and us. We have done better than expected and tu has done worse than expected.

If the men continue to do better than tu, we will gain two State Farm Lone Star Showdown points and tie the year's competition 9.5 to 9.5.

Yes, our strongest event for the women is the javelin throw followed closely by the triple jump. Should have 20 to 25 points in each. That is a lot of points for two events. However, our reputation is that we have such exceptional sprinters.
