I'm not a track follower except for the Big 12 meet, but it appears to me that the men are having a good meet. Let's keep tu in the rear view mirror and close the gap with NU if we can. But definitely stay ahead of the sips.

The men have all but wrapped up second. They won't catch Nebraska. I am pleased that we will beat Texas for the showdown points but disappointed that the men cannot get over the hump to win conference. I know we build our teams towards winning nationals but we ought to be able to get enough good kids on small scholarships or to walk on to be able to beat Nebraska or Colorado. Just seeing the glass half empty.

Indeed, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. If the Indoor is any indication, you've got the Triple Jump locked down pretty good, and you should have two of the top 3 finishers in the 200m dash, as well.

Hook'em!

Can any track experts out there enlighten me on Colorado?? Didn't they run away with the men's title last year (or am I remembering incorrectly)?? This year they are 2nd worst!

i do not believe we can overtake nebraska on the men's side. we are down 24 pts with two events left. we would need 14 pts from the 5000m and i do not think we have any runners to do that, but not sure.

We are not going to catch Neb in the men's, but we gave it a great run. What a triple jump performance - beautiful!

We will hold the trophy by beating tu, so that is nice. On to the NCAA championships.

I think we're down to just the 5000M and 4X400 left at this point, so the standings are probably the way the top teams will finish.
