I think he plans to. The 400 too possibly.

Peterman, I've never actually said Phelps was more impressive. I've actually not voiced my opinion on that.

All I've been saying is that Bolt's argument for being more impressive rests solely on the WAY that he's become the best in the world at the 100 and 200...not on the fact that he is the best in the world at both.

That's something that's been done multiple times in the past and Tyson Gay would be very, very close to doing it right now if Bolt wasn't alive.

Your repeated grovelling at Bolt's feet because he's the best at both is unwarranted in the context of this thread.

Let me put it this way...over the past 50 years, the depth of sprinters has allowed that achievement to happen before...over the past 50 years, the depth of swimmers has not allowed Phelps' achievement to happen.

I'd like to see Bolt run the 400. With his stride and speed, he could be phenomenal at that race.

He ran a 45.28 back in 2007 per Wiki. I've seen video of others 400s he ran since then, but I don't recall him beating that 2007 time.

I'm sure he'd be 44s if he put his focus on it, but I think he'd have to have to make serious changes to really compete at the highest of levels.

I still don't think we've ever seen Bolt run a race 100%. He still seems to ease up toward the line.
