I watched all of 4A. Great meet. Kingwood Park set multiple 4A records. No Cole Cragin or Skylar Smith this year, but times across the board were fast and tight (except 500 free).
They keep showing Samantha Tucker on Austin TV. She does the double cap thing - I think it is BS for high school swimming. And she was beaten badly in 200 free.
Just checked out the 5A results. Geez what a fast year across the board. The relays were smoking. 7th place in the 400 FR was 3:06.5 - Wow!

Every other kid wears their high school team cap.
She wears a Speedo V-cap over her school cap. Then when she finishes she quickly takes off her V-cap to reveal the high school cap.
The pros do this to hide their sponsor's cap (e.g. Visa) during the race (which is not allowed in certain meets).
