Getting beaten in the sport you invented is never good.

Like the USA getting beat in basketball.

Kind of a nice way to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the "Miracle on Ice".

Even if you aren't a hockey fan, that was a great game to watch. Definitely proud of the team and of being American!

And if you are a hockey fan, it was a thing of absolute beauty. Haven't been this much into a hockey game since the '04 Stanley Cup Finals. Yelling for goals, pins and needles in those final 3 minutes.

I nearly lost it in those last three minutes! Ryan Miller had one hell of a game today, let's just hope he can keep it up for 3 more!

I just got back from the Maple Leaf Pub in midtown (Houston). Unbelievable! One of the greatest sports atmospheres I've ever been a part of. Actually about 60/40 Canadian to American. GREAT GAME!

What a finish. It's almost hard to believe Ryan Miller even knew what was going on for those last 3 minutes, he just made the right saves when we needed them most.

man i love olympic hockey. They russian game was very very good. They are scary

i didn't think the yanks were capable of winning the gold due to their lack of "puck control," however, if they play with the heart and passion they have played these past 3 games, anything is possible

i can't believe i missed this. anybody know if they will replay anytime soon?
