The Aggies take on the Cornhuskers this afternoon at 3O in Lincoln. Looks like this will be an indoor match. Ags really need this road win to set up the rest of the conference schedule with Baylor at home and Tech and Texas on the road. Hope the guys bring their A game this afternoon.

krajicek pulls it out in a third set tiebreak to give the boys a 4-3 team win. it was NOT supposed to be this close, but if they found a way to win, that's all that matters. 3-0 in big 12 play after playing the bottom 3 teams in the conference. now on to the big dogs.

Nebraska is usually a tough match, they always show up to play against us. Good win for the guys!

It was an outdoor match, apparently. Surprising. Good thing we have been practicing and playing in rather windy conditions, might have helped us pull it out today

I have not talked to all our guys yet, but from the sound of it, this was an ugly match under tough conditions. It is interesting that we may have caught a break for once, as one of Nebraskas best players was out of the match with some type of illness. Hopefully we could still have found a way to win, but this had all the markings of a trap match. The guys get back today and then we are back in the frying pan with two matches on Monday, the nightcap against Notre Dame and then Baylor on Wednesday. It sure would be great if we could get a big crowd for both matches, although we are going up against Stephen Hawkins lecture on Monday night, and Basketball, which makes a big crowd problamatical. I would expect a large crowd for the Bears.
