Jeff won his first round match this morning 64,76.
Nazaria is tied 3-3 in the 3rd set.
Austin has a rematch at 11:30 against an Ole Miss player that he lost to in 3 sets in NCAAs.
Elze plays at 4:30 against a girl from USC.

It does make you wonder...after having his way with Thieman in the first set a couple weeks ago, he hasn't just lost, he has really struggled.

Just from watching a little today, it looked like he didnt have much timing. His footwork looked horrible, too. Not sure if he just had a REALLY bad day, but he was definitely not playing up to par today.

On the other hand, Dadamo had a really nice win today. Hope they get it together for doubles tomorrow

The silver lining is that this should put to rest any talk of Austin going pro early.

There's very little sense in ANY college player leaving early for the pros. You need to crack top 100/150 to make any kind of living.

The list of guys that played college tennis the last 10 years and cracked the top 100 is very small.
