I thought I'd post a few pictures on here from the evening. These aren't the greatest quality since they're just from my phone (like a dummy, I forgot my camera cable), but Ashe is INCREDIBLE. The whole place is just electric- seriously one of the coolest days/nights of my life.

The first 3 pictures are from Sharapova's match, which really wasn't too compelling since she dominated, but the Djokovic/Petzschner match was very entertaining. A fight broke out up in the third deck which was quite interesting, but everyone around me was really rallying for Petzschner up until the end. And Novak's interview after the match with Brad Gilbert was hysterical. I'm really hoping the schedule works out for us to see Blake/Djokovic this weekend!

Verdasco's shot on match point was unbelievable, I can't believe he had the energy to chase that ball down. Great match! Now looking forward to Nadal/Lopez up next...

As most know on here, I'm pullin for Fed like always.

Windy day out there, going to be interesting to see how Fed, and more importantly, Soderling react to it tonight.

Another Fed/Soderling matchup...I love watching both of these guys play tennis. They have had quite a little mini-rivalry the last year+.

I love Wozniacki, hope she takes home the title.

I think Fed could lose tonight. Nadal and Soderling are two of the guys who can really flatten out the ball, which will help tonight in the wind. Should be a good match, I might even stay up for the whole thing!

Gah, no kidding! I was so ready for that match to be over so she would stop complaining... I love Wozniacki's attitude. Didn't get to see her play, but we watched her practice before the Soderling match the other day on Armstrong, and she is super super talented. Predictions for Fed and Soderling's match? They're both two of my favorites, so I wish they were playing a little later in the tournament, but that's how it goes.

And playing in conditions that windy sucks. They're not kidding when they say it swirls in that stadium, it's crazy! In high school, we had to play a district tournament in 70 mph winds in West Texas which was pretty difficult, but that is obviously nowhere near as important as the US Open, lol.

I think this is the best I've seen Roger play this tournament- definitely sharp as the McEnroe bros said. My favorite moment of the match so far though, was Johnny Mac's comment to Pam about her graduating high school. She's had some 'duh' moments this evening, but that's nothing unusual.

This is a heck of a 3rd set between Fed and Soderling, it seems that the wind is dying down which will definitely help Soderling

Well, that spoils the dream final. I like Djokovic most of the time, but I really wanted Rafa and Roger. Plus, that shirt Novak's dad wears is absolutely ridiculous. All my money's on Rafa for the championship. And I'll pick Clijsters for the women's title tonight.

Man, I can't believe he's already got the career slam. Still not sure if he'll beat Federer's record because Federer has just been freakishly healthy. I hope Federer still has plenty in the tank because I want their rivalry to continue.
