Way to go Joey Roberts over the 800, there is some good development going on other than sprints/jumps on the A&M track which would make this team very hard to beat on the conference level!

1.49.5...just a touch quicker! but that is a solid time none the less!

Great run. I think if we want to consistently compete for Conference titles (and consistently compete with the Oregons at the top of the pile) we need a middle-distance or distance guy like this to pop up every once in a while.

Hopefully he can continue to develop and push into that 1:47 range it takes to score at outdoor NCAA's. 1:49.5 would've scored at indoor NCAA's last year.

Speaking of the 800, the girls had two freshman put up all-time A&M top 5 marks there at the meet...looks like the coaches may have struck the same kind of training rhythm that they've had with the sprints on the middle-distance.
