If there is any truth to it, I bet that it's something like BK had some personal effects & furniture in his office and they probably got some of the physical plant people to deliver them to his home. Maybe he wasn't home but they left the stuff in his driveway.

You can make that sound really bad if you tell it a certain way ("they dumped a couch in my lawn!!!". Getting canned is never pretty.

LOL at the commenter on that article...went to Texas first, then transfered to A&M, and won't ever wear her Aggie ring again? Yeah, her opinion matters a lot.

It's amazing how irrationally people can speak when things hit close to home. People don't have the conciousness to recognize that just because they are friends with somebody, it doesn't mean that person is the second coming.

BK is a good man...but he's not the only "good man". At least she admitted that to keep him around would not be focusing on taking the program to the next level...

How long has Weaver been the Assistant 1 year?? How are you going to label him as a poor recruiter?

Maybe recruiting suffered because like it or not BK tennis knowledge probably wasn't all that good plus he looks your Grandpa...

Get a Young guy like Weaver in there who has pro experience and let him grow as a coach before you slam him.

I edited this because I was too harsh on Weaver. This part I'll stick with...

We don't need someone who is going to grow as a coach - A&M is not a science project job. Let him go to A&M Corpus to make his mistakes like Denton did and let him come back to A&M when he has done his growing and is ready to get it done.

Mark started late in the season as I remember because Majorie was having her baby and decided to stop after the season had already began. This is the first recruiting class for Mark.

In addition-Let's not forget that Bobby was the Head Coach not Mark so I don't think Harry is being that fair towards Mark. I just don't think Mark has been given a chance to shine yet. Unfortunately I don't think he will be hired anyways, but I don't see why Harry is dumping on him so much. Bobby was there for 26 years so obviously he was the one running the show for the last several years.

I agree with this. I'll be disappointed if we hire a seedling and try to grow it into a coach.

Maybe we don't necessarily need a current head coach, although I bet Byrne would prefer one, but I'd want someone with more time spent as a successful assistant ala Rob Childress.
