Some up and some downs today. Not looking good for the men. Women are wounded.
Got hurt in the Women’s 100 with a false start – never should happen.
It appears that the Ags’ Tabarie Henry and the Gators’ Jeff Demps may have gotten too hot running the 4x100 because they both failed to qualify in their specialty – the 100m for Demps and the 400m for Tabarie. Both teams hurt. Florida State helped – could get two runners in the top three in the 100m. It was good to see freshman Prezel Hardy qualify for the 100m finals along with Gerald Phiri.
The Aggie Men set a school and stadium record in the 4x100. Hope they can duplicate this Saturday.
I tried to add up the projected points. These results may not be accurate. They should be close. There are three more days to go so we are really just getting started.
