My vote would be to just rename it to A&M Other Sports. I would love to hear more about A&M Golf here as well.

Then add an option when posting to select which sports - T&F, Tennis, Golf, etc... with Other Sports being the default. The Title would show the sports selected.

If you are addicted to recruiting information, and I assume we have some of those people since we have a recruiting forum, then you should know that recruiting is a huge part of track and field. Henry is very good at recruiting and assembling a "team" while being handcuffed by the meager numbers allowed by the ncaa. Some of us who like to follow T&F all year are constantly seeking information on who we are able to sign. There are also significant transfers each year (and now losses to the "pros". We lost an assistant coach to a HC position in the SEC and need a replacement. Finding that info is not easy. Perhaps a Track Forum would allow some discussions that show we care about the sport. Oregon gets their pick of the distance stars and are now assembling a great sprint group because they claim to be "Tracktown USA". We need to show we care.

#1) Texags is not Texas A&M University
#2) You don't show you care by adding a forum on a message board - if you think that voting for the addition of a new forum is "doing your part" for recruiting, you're loopy.
#3) Golf was moved to its own forum. I think most of us rarely visit that forum to talk about A&M golf.
#4) The women's bball board made more sense because the women's threads would be constantly obliterated from the first page of the men's board, and because of the constant "this is why nobody watches women's basketball" tomfoolery. Track has no problem sticking out on the other sports board, and there's nothing that keeps anyone from discussing track recruiting, transfers, etc. here. There's plenty of threads about that sort of stuff that pop up for all of the other sports; with track it's just a matter of finding a small group who are hugely into the sport, and they can drive the conversation.

I'm all for renaming the board to make it less of an "afterthought," but keep them all together.
