Yeah, I noticed it was a ghost town...unfortunately that'll be the case for the next two weeks as well!!!

In other news, WTF is up with the Predators? They are supposed to be awesome at home, but have lost their first two home games!

The first real measuring stick will be tomorrow and Sat. with a back to back in Anaheim and LA. I'll be happy if we win one of the two. I would start Lehtonen tomorrow and Raysoft on Saturday.

P.S. I wish they would move the Stars to the Central so these games wouldn't start at 9:00!

My wife and I both grew up in Texas and both Aggies, yet our son gravitated to hockey. I've learned to love it and can actually watch a whole game on tv now. I even went to the Big 12 Hockey Championship in Frisco a while back. It was fun, though one of the players broke his arm...

Going to be a good game tonight: Avs and Stars. Two surprising teams and two hot goaltenders. I thought the Avs pulled off the biggest trade of the offseason with the pickup of Varlamov (who I think is very underrated).

I also wish they would feature the Stars and Avs in the Winter Classic. They could play at Mile High Stadium. I'm tired of all these Eastern Conference teams in the Classic (and yes, I know they bring the ratings).

remember when Stars vs Avs would get everyone's blood boiling...because it was Belfour vs Roy...man I miss those epic WCF games in 99 and 2000 against the Avs.

Man what a game! Just as I mentioned the hot goaltenders they stink it up . I didn't think the Stars could match the Avs score for score but they did. Helluva game. Keep the momentum going for the big upcoming road trip.
