I live in Oregon and my daughter is a freshman at a high school that has won the girls 5A State Track Championship 4 out of the last 5 years. She is carrying her A&M workbag over her shoulder when a girl on the Varsity track team stops her and ask her about the A&M gear. After my daughter responds that "My family is an Aggie Family", the girl responds "That is so cool. I really want to go there to school and run track."

Mind you, this is in a school where it seems 90% of the kids are wearing Duck gear. Pretty cool that in the Duck's own back yard, A&M is making some waves... of course a triple-double is pretty powerful stuff.

If I recall correctly, the track teams won their second set of national championships at the Oregon track facility.

Happy Days - Yes. I took my family over to Eugene to watch the last day of the meet and the Ags won it. Eugene is self proclaimed Track Town, USA BTW. It was a blast to witness the Ags win a national championship in person.

The indoor championship is in Boise in 2012 and the outdoor back in Eugene for 2013 and 2014. I hope to make it to those as well.
