Two out of the last three weekends, I should say. The wins over MSU and Texas have been great. Last weekend against UVa...not so much.

Anyone know what's going on with Withrow? I haven't watched him play in any of the matches. He's lost every singles match this Spring and they flipped him and Lewis at the 5/6. Coming in so highly ranked and redshirting I was expecting more I guess.

I'm with you on Withrow, Blake. I'm not sure what the deal is, but he hasn't even been competitive for the most part in his singles matches.

What's really strange is that he plays really well in doubles with Junior. Maybe he is just going to be someone who turns into a doubles specialist. It might not be what we expected from him coming in, but there's nothing wrong with that.

I'll probably sit over on that side during the next home matches. I haven't really watched Ore or Withrow much. It's only 5 matches into his freshman year, but wondering how long until they give someone else a go... Szabo?

Is the Texas Cup going to continue next year and beyond? Seems we arent going to be playing tu in anything next year.

Definitely think they should try Szabo he is unbeaten in singles so far.

Very happy for the aggie men! They played extremely well in the clutch situations. Overall the level of play for two top 15 team isn't really that impressive though. In my opinion, the level of play at the men's collegiate level isn't very high right now if these are some of the best teams in the nation. USC and Virginia are at another level it seems, but take them out of the equation and it is pretty average at best compared to previous years.

Withrow has more talent than szabo, just needs a bit of time.
I expected a lot more from him at 5 or 6.
Maybe try angus?

#1 lost 8-2 and #3 lost 8-5. #2 was up 7-2, but Tulsa has creeped back to 7-5.

Watched the Texas match - Horns weren't very good. Soren had one of the weaker serves you'll see at the 1-line at this level. Pretty slick hitter, but not much in terms of power.

Whitehead at 2 was easily frustrated. Very up-and-down emotionally. He had a lot of success when he started coming up to the net against Hoover, but he got run all over the place (and missed the same cross-court shot about 17 times in the match). Couldn't see the rest of the singles matches, but wasn't impressed by the 1-2.

Disappointing loss to Tulsa none-the-less though on a tough weekend.

Looks like we have Kentucky, which easily handled Tulsa at home. Doesn't look good. Probably paired up with Texas in the second round if we lose.

Team strength is not indoors, definitely see a rematch with t.u coming up this weekend

Not surprised by either loss. Team isn't strong indoors and Tulsa played us close on almost all courts last year at home.
Unless this team starts winning the doubles point and most matches on 4,5,6 don't expect them to win the conference this year

Aggies win 6 to 1....really very dominant...can't remember when we handled TCU that well....off to LSU in the morning...play Sunday....

Aggies are at LSU today. The doubles point is a battle.

LSU won at #2 5-8 over Hoover/Lewis.

A&M wins 9-8 at #1 with Ore/Withrow.

It will be decided at #3 where it is now 8-8.
