Nice win over LSU 5-2. That's a point better than the 4-3 win last year.

Santacroce closes out the match at the 5 line. Now 3-0 this year (2-0 as a 4, 1-0 as a 5). Hard to forget that some of these girls were decent recruits, maybe it was coaching all along and they're starting to figure things out? Haven't played the best competition yet, but have played well despite.

Well remember Santacroce was injured (foot?) during her sophomore season, played through it, and then had to get surgery before her junior year

We lost five and six again though. that has to pick up

The girls are doing well, but they haven't really beaten a good team yet. Santacroce winning is promising but to say that she was a good recruit is a bit of a stretch! She was a 4star recruit. I would call that a below average recruit. Joffe definitely deserves some credit on Santacroce's reent play!

Santacroce was NOT a good recruit. We should never give scholarships to four star recruits - t.u. certainly doesn't. You won't see Joffe signing 4 star kids.

Credit goes to Joffe for getting some good tennis out of her. LSU is not that great but to win at against LSU, Ohio State, and at #4 against Ole Miss that is going to the national team indoors is pretty impressive, especially when she couldn't buy a win at 6 against much worse teams last year.

It's going to take another year to see the results we want to see, but it looks like we're finally on the right track.

A&M continues to roll with a win over #27 Washington. Best test of the season yet, and handled it well. 4-2 at present, Sun Wen is up 3-2 in the second set, with one in her pocket.

Cristina tops the #18 player in the country in straight sets 6-3 6-2. Sweep the doubles.
