It's that time again, folks! And it's my first French Open with Direc TV so I get all those extra channels and I'm not forced to watch whatever the network chooses for me!

Looking quickly at the draw, I think Roger's is ridiculously hard. Nalbandian in round 2, Roddick in round 3, and a QF with either Del Potro or (likely) Berdych? Yikes.

Haven't looked at the women's draw too much yet.

Predictions?

SF: Djoker over Federer
Rafa over Ferrer

Final: Rafa over Djoker.

As always, I'm rooting for Federer!

I dont think Roger will have problems with Nalbandian nor Roddick. It's revenge time for Fed to beat Roddick from the loss at Miami (which I was there in attendance). Del Potro or Berdych will be a challenge. I am hoping for a Federer win but Nadal will take it. Womens side is up for grabs.

Sharapova and Rafa.

Congrats to American Jesse Livine, qualified today for his first French Open. On the women's side, Alexa Glatch and Lauren Davis made it through. Davis beat fellow American Julia Cohen to make it into the main draw for the first time.

Djoker and Sharapova

Hard to pick against Nadal. The guy is just nails in Paris.

Seeds hold early, but Roddick loses the first set to Mahut. Mahut's quality has fallen off, maybe Roddick can slip back into this match.

Irini Falconi and Melanie Oudin made it through to Round 2.

Roddick needs to just fade away, his career is over. The dude just sucks right now. He should concentrate on Brooklyn Decker more. Seems like a good option

Ryan Harrison's a head case, we've seen this too often.

Its going to be a long one against Simon. I hope a potential loss doesn't cost Harrison a chance to play in London.

As for Roddick, he hosts a saturday radio show with "bobby bones" out of austin on Fox Sports radio that is just atrocious...well I was on the road saturday and that was about all we could get at the time and the idiot is telling the audience that Andy is in paris at the french open, then said "we wish him luck and hope he's back next weekend"

either the idiot didn't know it's a 2 week tournament or he wished his partner to fail early in Paris. Funny and not surprising from that ****fest of a show.

Anyone want to take a stab at what that number ultimately ends up being for Roger, and whether anyone will ever come close to it?

That record is not only a massive amount of talent and mental strength needed, but also luck with injuries.

His 23 consecutive GS semi's is still one of the most amazing records in tennis IMO, not to mention his still current QF streak at 31.

Brian Baker's story is pretty incredible. I remember hearing about him when he was younger, and it's so awesome to see him back out there again!

I love how the commentators wouldn't shut up about how well Serena was moving, because she had lost so much weight, but I saw her get wrong footed and look horrible all match.

I bet the ESPN crew is crying themselves to sleep because Serena is out. I will enjoy this tournament even more now

Rafa's march to the finals looks very easy from here on out. Murray is hurt and likely wont even make it to the semi's. Ferrer may challenge but I don't think he can beat him, and the same for Tsonga.

Berdych has to go 5 sets. Pretty good match between Fed and Mahut...4th set and on serve.

Azarenka loses to Cibulkova

Djoker is down 2 sets to 1 to Seppi, who is 0-7 against Djoker in his career

Fed lost the first set to David Goffin, a lucky loser, currently on serve in the second

Fed is human. He can get rattled.

Fed was yelling at the crowd because during that point someone from the crowd yelled "Out" when the ball landed in, Del Portro hit that shot to the deep corner, which caused Fed to hit the return it into the net.

he called the trainer a few times during changovers very briefly in the 3rd, but seemed to be moving fine. It looked to me like he completely checked out of the 4th set after losing the first break, and was maybe holding back to give it everything in the 5th...but Fed broke him early again.

What a match by Federer to come from 2-0 down and just destroy DelPo.

Djoker and Tsonga may be match of the year before this is all over. Amazing tennis.

Tsonga is a real enigma.
