Julia's very honest account of the London Olympics as well as her thoughts about whether or not to continue swimming. Not going to lie, it was tough for me to keep it together at my desk while I read it. Love this girl to death and wish I could make the pain go away, but sadly, only time heals this type of wound.

One of the best pieces she's written. Regardless of her eventual decision, she should be very proud of what's she's done throughout her career, including in London. The rest of us are.

It was courageous to write what she did. We don't often get to hear what disappointment feels like for an elite athlete unless they are being interviewed by an idiot like Andrea Kramer.

I most appreciate what Julia did for TAMU. Our first NCAA champion, a great representative for us, and surely a huge positive for the team for a long time going forward. I wish her the absolute best, whatever she chooses to do.

I admire her greatly, regardless of the disappointing outcomes in her events. And, I wish her nothing but joy in the future.

I hope she does not forget that although she failed to accomplish her hopes and dreams on the biggest stage in the world, she made it there. By any measure, it was an outstanding achievement.

Love and best wishes, Julia.
