While the Reveille Invite is still a good 2 months away I can't help but anticipate another strong track and field campaign from both the men and women. The Ags have been the dominant college progam these past 4 or 5 years and are certainly ready for the challenege of the SEC conference (easily the dominant track conference)
One question for the upcoming season. While both men and women return some big time performers, how does our freshmen class look with both scholorship kids and walk-ons?
And secondly are we ever going to get a new outdoor facility that the team and Coach Henry so rightly deserve? (I've read about a lot of other facility updates, but nothing about the track stadium)

We have three junior national champions coming in the men's 400 (Aldrich Bailey), the women's discus (Jennifer Vaughan), and the women's triple jump (Jennifer Madu). Madu was the runner up in the 100m. Madu won the world youth championship in the 100m in Lille last year. Cameron Thornton ran the 800 in Lille. Janeil Bellille represented T&T at the junior worlds in 2008 in the 400H and in Lonodn this summer. She's peaked a little it seems, but I believe the staff thinks they've found identified some flaws in either or form or training they'll try to correct.

We'll see the new facility built at some point, yes, but it may be years out. I just hope Pat is around to use it.
