Very interesting. I wonder how much is true.

It doesn't take an expert Googler to see all of the bad things that have happened within the Florida program in the last few years.

Gemma Spofforth spoke publicly about considering suicide, but her dad also died shortly before that. Two of their swimmers were arrested for shoplifting, and one again for possession of cocaine after a fight broke out at a DJ Tiesto concert.

One UF swimmer Tweeted earlier this year that she wanted to punch her coach after she was told something to the effect of "how can you call yourself a Division I swimmer if you can't make that interval," (paraphrased).

Swimmers falling off of bikes, falling off of scooters, and seriously injuring themselves. There have been quite a few transfers (one went to Arizona this year and is swimming very well).

That's what we all know publicly, though of course there's a lot more that is sent around the swimming telephone.

Whether or not any of that is directly connected to anything the coaches do or have done, if anything the coaches do is beyond-the-line and causing damage to the swimmers emotionally, etc....that would be a question for someone who went to college for a lot longer than I did and studied a very different subject.
