The US Open is a close second. So now it is almost on us. My heart wants Fed to win but my head says Joker. I do know it will be hot as blazes down under. They have a decent little heat wave going on down there.

I tend to agree.

For me, I think it's a number of things.

First, I like that the difference in time zone works out well for me watching the tournament. With matches starting here in the states during prime time, I can watch matches during the evening and then as I nod off. I'll record and watch the later matches when I get home from work in the afternoon.

Also, I think the fact that it's the first tournament of the year helps. I guess technically there is about as much time between the Aussie Open and the French Open as there is between the US Open and the Aussie Open, but for some reason, between the latter two just seems so much greater.

I'd agree. The unfortunate thing is I don't get Tennis Channel anymore so it'll be awhile before I can watch the matches live.

The time between tournaments is about the same, but this wait is worse.

yup. I like it because I can start out in the evening in the states watching tennis, and decide pass out if I want or stay up real late for the primetime matches. I've had some great fun watching some classic Federer matches over the years at 3AM.

I agree with all that has been said. I get to overload on tennis as much as I like owing to the time difference.

The big 3 are probably sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for the draw to come out to see who get Ferrer in their bracket.

With the draws Joker has an easy path to the finals. Definitely his tournament to take.

Doesn't Joker have Ferrer in his half? Might be a good Semis matchup

Yes, but he does not have Murray. He also does not have Tsonga. Joker got a great draw.

Djoker has an awesome draw.

Fed's is ok in his quarter, Tsonga on the hardcourt won't be pretty for him in the QF's. the home country chance in Tomic, but otherwise it's pretty straight forward.

Can't wait
