Interesting that this is their first road trip of the season, and this is our first home match of the season. Their largest crowd this season has been 505 people... hopefully the place will be packed. I'm also assuming this will be their first match outdoors.

The only points they've dropped this year have been against #6 Georgia. They lost at the number 1 singles line where their player, Peter Kobelt, was ranked #1 at the time. They also lost at the number 6 singles line.

They have a very experienced line up that would match up like this against us:
#1 - RS Junior vs. Efferding - Sophomore
#2 - Junior vs. Ore - Junior
#3 - RS Senior vs. Harrison - Freshman
#4 - Senior vs. Vinsant - Freshman
#5 - RS Freshman vs. Withrow - RS Sophomore
#6 - RS Sophomore vs. Szabo - RS Sophomore

Would be a great win for the team... I won't be able to make it but should be able to watch some of it online.

I'll be there with mom (since she loves to watch tennis).....I prefer to go to the lady games but it gives me something to do on Sunday I guess.

Really looking forward to heading out there Sunday. The home opener this year is about three weeks later than it was last year, so I'm really jonesing for some live tennis.

I think this will be a good test of how "for real" this team is. Ohio State is good, obviously.

The crappy part is that the weather doesn't look good for Sunday. Pretty good chance of thunderstorms the last time I checked.

Is the game still on at 12:00?

I'm wondering the same thing myself. We got a decent amount of rain overnight, but it has stopped for now.

I haven't seen an update on any of the official Facebook or Twitter accounts.

Wow... they went up 6-3, then lost two points on OSU's serve. Shane served and they won the point and it was some epic close net play.

Only real change for was flipping #1/#2 courts. OSU has quite a few adjustments from their previous win over Georgia. Smith moved from #4 singles to #6, and McCarthy from #3 to #4. Van Engelen did not play singles vs. Georgia.
