My two sons have each gone to A&M camp twice. I thought it was an excellent experience and they did too. I have watched a bit of the Texas camp from the stands.
The A&M camp is very strong on coaching and technique. Lots of attention from the coaches, which include A&M coaches, some hired help, and A&M swimmers. They seem to try very hard to build a coach-to-swimmer relationship. My kids knew by name every coach that worked with them. My kids saw more Bultman and Boyd than Holmes.
As a parent, I was also very happy how they run the camp - the security, food, activities, etc.
The Texas camp seems to be less personal in general. I saw workouts with 100+ kids and just a few coaches on deck.
