had Mitchell Krueger and Jordan Ward-Hibbert played for the team?

what do you expect for next year? At some point the team should be better than simply top 16.

Certainly top ten. Maybe top 4.

Every important player on this men's team is coming back, and if our three freshmen in Harrison, Shane, and Jackson continue to improve, WOW, watch out. We will have the deepest 3,5, and 6 spots in the nation. Junior and Efferding also comeback to lead the team at it's forefront.

Only loss will be Niall.

We wouldn't have gotten Adams if Krueger doesn't go pro. I might rather have Harry anyway especially since he decommitted from tu to get here. Ward-Hibbert probably would've helped us out but who knows? He had a lot of success in jrs.

It's time for the men to actually get it done. I am tired of hearing what could have been or wait til next year. That is all a bunch of garbage to make everyone feel better. Just show us the results!

^^Agreed, but you've got to admit for having three freshmen playing this year, reaching the sweet 16 is a solid accomplishment. I feel like next year will be Efferding's year, and Junior continues to get better. I know it's frustrating to hear, but next year we really will be set up to have a special year IMHO.

For next year to be special Denton is going to need to recruit someone good enough to knock Efferding down to 2 and another guy to come in at 3 and knock the rest down. Otherwise we're looking at another Sweet Sixteen year.

In football you can say look how young we are compared to other teams and with one more year we'll pass them up. That doesn't hold true in tennis especially in the SEC. When a team loses a good senior they don't replace them with a good 18 year old out of high school that needs to mature. They get a 20 year old from Europe or South America who's been playing satellites for a year or two and who has figured out he's not going to ever crack the top 100 on the ATP but can get a free education in the US and be a top 10 or 15 player right from the start. That's the kind of player we need but haven't been able to get.

Couldn't agree more, but the problem is all the top americans have already committed by now and Denton's track record with internationals is dismal. It will be another Sweet 16 year at best which is good but not great.
