Scott and Akinosun both lost their coaches to other schools.

@BigTrain. That's a really good point concerning UCF and Illinois losing their coaches. I would like to see what these athletes would do next year. Did you know that Morolake Akinosun commited to Texas A&M and at the last minute she decided to stay in Illinois and now her coach has gone to Texas. Wondering if that was a wise decision. We will wait and see.

Another NCAA finalist (400m) goes pro.
"Shaunae Miller has opted out of her scholarship at the University of Georgia to go the professional route. Miller who boasts personal bests of (200m -22.45 & 400m – 50.70) signed with On Track Management Inc. a sports management company in Atlanta, Georgia"

Shaunae Miller – I am extremely disappointed that she chose to go pro. She was a great asset for Georgia and for the SEC.

I was curious what the UCF runners would do. They were a great pair. Glad to see Octavious turn pro – great help for our sprinters.

No one was surprised when English turned pro. She is fast, very fast. That was a tremendous gift from her to us. Her 10.96 has been bettered in Olympic history only four times.

Kimberly Duncan had a phenomenal career at LSU.

I think Miller made a mistake turning pro so early. I hope for her sake she doesn't end up like Bianca Knight.

Another NCAA sprint finalist turns pro. Aurieyall Scott is foregoing her senior year and signs with NIKE. The aggie women's team should be very strong this year.

I hope these gals are getting their degrees, or will return and get their degrees, but that sure does bode well for our women.

I know this thread is mostly about the Aggie women's future, but in discussing those who did turn pro, I'm very excited for Freeman's future. She ran an absolutely amazing anchor at worlds for the US
