Does anyone have any idea when the NHL season schedule will be released? I'm trying to make some plans for out of town and would like to hit some games. It seems like a crazy wait for the schedule.
I had heard it was going to be released July 17 but that is come and gone.

There are still some i's to dot and t's to cross over NHL players participating in the Olympics. They are waiting on something on that end, so any day now depending on when that is finalized they will officially release them.

Based on some leaks, it looks like they are already done (with a break for the Olympics included), but they are waiting to make sure that doesn't fall through before they release they schedules so they don't have to go back in and amend them later.
