The women's soccer team has a game against Baylor on Sunday night! The Baylor fans unfortunately travel rather well (for women's soccer fans) and are among the most annoying fans I've ever encountered. We need as many Aggies at the game as possible to keep our home field advantage. The game is Sunday at 7pm at Ellis Soccer Field (between Reed Arena and Calloway House)

Promotions:
-Free pizza at the game for students!
-If you bring your SHSU football ticket stub then you can purchase a ticket for $3!
-A chance to win tickets to First Yell
-I think 4 kids can get in free with an adult ticket
-Sorority girls get in free if they wear their greek letters

History:
We've beaten Baylor the last 11 meetings! In those 11 games Baylor has scored a grand total of ONE goal to A&M's 24 goals. However, this year Baylor will come to College Station ranked higher than the Aggies. That makes it even more important for the 12th Man to show up to support the team.

Also, after the last game there was a thread on texagsnorth.com claiming that a drunk Aggie fan punched a Baylor soccer girl after the game. The Baylor fans eventually admitted it was a lie, but this is the sort of trashy fans they have at these games. Be prepared.

Slight topic derail.... Why can't I find an aggie women's soccer shirt/jersey for my 5 year old daughter? Got her all geared up for her first soccer practice a couple of weeks ago and out of the blue she asks for an A&M soccer shirt. Of course I tell her that "daddy can make that happen" , but so far no luck. Since we live in the DC area now it's really only a matter of time before she starts asking for a unc jersey, if I can't nip it in the bud with some A&M gear

A&M has taken up permanent residence in the heads of Baylor fans. I'd like to tell you that there wasn't a three page thread over there about Liucci, but I can't :/ I've never seen a thread that long HERE about Liucci.

Used to attend Women's Soccer games when I lived in CS. Really fun, especially against t.u. and Baylor.

We were in San Diego until this summer, so I took my daughter to the game there last year. She had a blast. Didn't end well for us, but she's a fan.

I'll be there. The Maroon Militia and the Aggie Soccer Drumline really do make it a cool atmosphere.
