Starting grid tomorrow:

1) Vettel
2) Rosberg
3) Hamilton
4) Webber
5) Massa
6) Raikkonen
7) Hulkenberg
8) Alonso
9) Perez
10) Button

Should be an interesting start. About half of the top 10 will start on soft tires, the other half on medium compound. We will see some early pit stops with shuffling in race position early on. Hope to see some nice battles for position on the track.

Was a little surprised by Massa's position (over Alonso), but he will probably drop down if previous history this year is any indication.

1) Vettel

3) Grosjean (started p17)
4) Massa (surprising considering season)
5) Perez (Proving the doubters wrong)

Vettel officially secured his spot as the World Champion for this season, four times overall. Vettel and Webber had 1 and 2 locked up until Webber was told around lap 40 to stop the car immediately due to a gearbox and alternator issue. Feel bad for the guy.

Lotus gambled with the Iceman and told him to stay in the race for the last 5ish laps instead of changing tires. He quickly started falling and was told to pit with only 1.5 laps left. At least Kimi came out on new tires and set the fastest lap. As Red Bull told Vettel, "Just so you know, Raikkonen pitted on the last lap. He's now on brand new tires and he is going to obliterate your lap." To which Vettel cheered.

Vettel doing donuts at the end of the race was a nice touch, too. The commentators were saying that it is severely frowned upon so he might get in trouble over it. Still funny to see in F1.

Haven't got to watch it yet but I saw that Vettel won. I have been, and still am, a big Seb fan but I'd like to see someone mount a challenge. Can't wait to see Kimi in a Ferrari.
What was the deal with Kimi and Grosjean?

Hopefully Kimi can pose a challenge next year when he's back with Ferrari.

The Lotus drama was not as strange as hyped. Kimi was in third, so the team told him to try to ride out his tires a few more laps to the finish, but Grosjean consistently gained ground. Massa was breathing down Grosjean's neck, but he had nowhere to go because Kimi was driving slower lap by lap because of his degrading tires. Grosjean tried to pass, but Kimi was trying to protect his podium spot. Ultimately, Kimi lost his position to both and pitted - which is when he set the fastest lap of the day.

I'm sure Kimi doesn't have much loyalty left to Lotus considering he's going to Ferrari next year (and the FIA wants you to believe that for ratings), but I really believe he was trying to hold onto third until the very end. Who wouldn't?

I'm watching yesterday's practice rounds and they are talking more about the Lotus team's drama last week.

The Lotus team was apparently furious with Kimi and Lotus' Director of Trackside Operations said over the radio, "Kimi, get out of the f'in way!"

Iceman responded, "Don't shout **various expletives**. I'll move when I have a chance."

36 hours before yesterday's practice round, Kimi was not even due to take part of the race in Abu Dhabi this weekend. It wasn't clear if because of Kimi or because Lotus telling him no...but he's there now for the race.

What about the Rossi kid in GP2. That was some pretty good sheet. Hopefully we'll see him in F1 soon. It'd be great to see the Stars and Stripes out there.

I agree. I would love to see him on the podium while listening to "The Star-Spangled Banner".

He would become my driver to cheer for.
