Been busy I suppose. Should be an interesting open this year. Rafa is downplaying himself and acting like he has no chance. I'm not buying it.

Ivanovic is already gone. There goes solid eye candy. Guess my focus will be on cibulkova the rest of the way for the women.

Nadal just survived a tough 5th set match against an American. Nadal's hand was cramping. He dropped to his knees after match point and maybe even cried a little. Sharapova got lucky. She was down 3-1 in the third and survived 3 match points. Wozniacki and Azarenka in the 2nd round she be a great match.

I saw Sharapova last night.

Fell asleep just as Federer was righting the ship, completely missed the Nadal match.

Looked like he was physically ill as well. We'll see what happens down the road.

I will not watch Sharapova. I can't stand her screaming like she is having a baby out there.

Federer stated after the match there was something wrong with his hand during the first set, something akin to a bee sting that just went away.

They are playing Murray up as a dark horse but I am not buying that.

Some thinly-veiled drama down under, as the on court old man presenter asked Serena to twirl for the crowd after her match(don't think she did), and then asked Eugenie Bouchard to twirl as well. Yes, twirl.

That has apparently started controversy as people are calling the old guy sexist and people saying no one would ever ask Roger or Rafa to twirl, etc.,...including Serena saying that stuff...

That annoys the ever living **** out of me. To her credit, Eugenie didn't give a ****...but these women wear the sexiest tennis clothes possible, and make so much money off their looks, and utilize it as a marketing tool to gain fans and notoriety. If you're going to play that game, then be prepared for people to ask for a harmless twirl.

It was within the same few seconds that I watched this happen last night, and then Serena give an interview to ESPN about how much skin her outfit shows this year, and how it's almost completely backless, designed to show off her back muscles, because she wants to show women that "power is beauty" or some ****.

Can't have it both ways.

It looks like she is rounding into form though. I suspect she is going to roll this year.

Chris Everett and John McEnroe were talking about that the other day. Federer is 33 and some days we is going to look like he did when he was in his 20s and other days he is not. That is just a part of getting older.

Seppi also played out of his mind. Wasn't a typical old man with an off day...it was the dreaded old man with on off day going up against a guy playing lights out with his opportunity.

Many people play lights out when they play the top players. They can all strike the ball and when they have nothing to lose they go for broke. Federer was not controlling the points like he normally does.

Seppi is backing up pretty well tonight but Kyrgios has clawed back into the game and into the 5th with go!

It is about to get interesting. The big boys are ready to pair off against one another.

I really want to see Nadal and Kyrgios in the Semis just to see how annoyed they can get with each other's pace of play. And of course, Djoker and Nadal is the dream final in my book.

Really wish Fed would have made it to QF's, because this is going to be fun. Murray, Fed would have been great.

But, it is nice to have an Aussie in it vs. Murray. I'll be rooting for him.

Well rafa just got steamrolled

I am really turned off by the attitude of these tennis players, including Federer. When you get beat give credit to your opponent. He/she beat you. Do not talk about how you were hurt or you were not back to peak form. Nadal blew off the defeat because he was injured/not in peak form. That is wrong. Federer did the same thing the other night but not nearly as bad as what Nadal did.

I lost a ton of respect for Nadal due to his post-game comments.

Murray is looking so good. Was so solid last night. Barely gave Nick a sniff and Nick didn't even play poorly

Djoker and Wawrinka tomorrow evening at 5pm. Nice that this matchup is at a watchable hour. Really looking forward to this one.

There was a time we wanted a Federer v. Nadal final. The torch has been passed on if both are healthy we are now wanting a Joker v. Murray final. I personally feel Joker is going take this one. He has more match fitness although over the past two weeks Murray is rounding into form. Going to stay up and watch this one.
