Does anyone know how long the equestrian matches last? Taking my daughter since she loves horses but also wanted to make a baseball if time allows.

Also, does anyone know if the kids are allowed to visit the team and horses? Sorry for all the questions but this would be my first match to attend.

Meets typically last 4 hours. Often the schedule is EQ Over Fences, then Horsemanship and EQ on the flat similtaneously, then Reining.

The athletes are around to mingle some. You will not be allowed into the barns near the horses. But you are very close watching.

Takes about 4 hours total - you will have decide which discipline(s) you want to watch as Hunt Seat (English) style and Western both run concurrent. Within each of those two disciplines there are two types competitions of 5 riders each (excluding exhibition riders), so to bring this home, there are 20 possible points. 5 riders times 4 types of competition (Hunt Seat = Over Fences and Flat and Western = Reining and Horsemanship). in the event of a tie score between the riders on compete, no points awarded. Today, Baylor won beating Ags 11-8 (there was one tie in reining, hence 19 points available) - Any more questions feel free to ask me.....
