I was wondering that too. why is he not running with the team?

I believe the reason for the recent gravitation of our track athletes to Texas is because of Tonja Buford Bailey (Texas Assistant coach),
She may also be some relative to Aldrich Bailey
Aldrich Bailey did well as Texas A&M but not exception maybe due to injury or other issues. His PB for the 400m is still from his high school performance.

Also Sierra Patrick mother Sandra Farmer Patrick ran with Tonja Burford Bailey for the US

So I believe this is the reason.
Tonja Buford Bailey have done exceptional well with the 400m Texas female runners and also sprinters. Three of the top 400 m runners in the NCAA is coached by Buford Bailey

I noticed we have not signed any top male sprinters from the state of Texas for this season and next season. All top male sprinter so far have gone elsewhere.
We are using basically the same athletes for 4x100 and 4x400 with Lendore, Taplin and Coleman filling in the 4x100.
Maybe we will get some in the final signing period

Several tu runners transferred there last year from Illinois after Buford Bailey was hired, including I think the NCAA champ in the 400.
