I recorded the game and watched it just now, but my 2 hour recording window expired near the end of the 3rd set, so I didn't see how it ended, turns out we freakin' WON 3-2!!!

Whooooooop!

Gig 'em, ladies!

Also, I noticed that Angela Lowak was there but not suited up, so I presume she's injured, and God Speed her recovery. Any of us who've been injured playing sports get how badly that sucks and would wish her well personally, but we also need her energy and offensive effectiveness on the court, lads and lassies.

They started out poorly in the first four sets. Struggled and came back from behind to make all four close. In the fifth set, they finally started well and blew SC out, 15-4, I think.

I would not say it was a great win, it was a good comeback and a solid fifth set which we are doing very well this season in but to go 5 with SC isn't good.

We passed horribly again first and third set to get behind. McGee was stopped because her inability yesterday to hit around a well formed block when the attack has to go to her. She had one kill to start the actual match and then 5-6 errors before being pulled.

The thing I was curious about was if an outside hitter was in a funk, or God forbid another injury who would replace them from our bench...looks to be Kaitlyn Blake, our resident utility player. Decent but not used to approach angle from the outside it seemed, but she adjusted well after coming back in for a sub, and had a good fifth set

Ashlie Reasor came in and had a GREAT match on the right side, something I would like to see more of. I have seen and on night followed by an off night with her and this was definitely on Sunday.

We have to shore up passing very soon and our freeball percentage is not very good nor did we close out sets like set 1 after making a comeback and taking the lead. Set point and gave three away in a row to lose, similar to Arkansas which I think was the pivotal point of that match, luckily we didn't let it happen again against South Carolina.

I really liked the OH for SC, had a good match, still learning the game but incredible athlete which I think that style of player would be the kind of player we need to recruit say every other year
