The Men and Women both picked up wins at LSU yesterday. Brock Bonetti (1/2 Back) Mauro Castillo (1/2 Breast) and Mateo Muzek (500/1000) were all double winners on the men's side. Bonetti went a strong 1:44 in the 2 Back and Jacob Gonzales split 19.6 on the winning 2 medley relay. Sam Thornton (1m) and Skylar Lake (3m) won in diving. Big win on the road against a ranked opponent, very positive heading into Friday's senior day meet against SMU (7pm at the Rec Center Natatorium) and then onto SECs.
Women didn't have Gastaldello or Konetzke in the lineup, but got double wins from Sydney Pickrem (1000/2im), Claire Brandt (1/2 Back), Madison Hudkins (1m/3m), Sycerika McMahon (1 Breast/500) and Sarah Gibson (1/2 Fly). Hudkins remains on fire having only lost twice this season, and Gibson taking down Kara Kopcso, who has the 3rd fastest 2 fly in the conference in 2015-16, is impressive. The women are off until SECs.
