That Aggie men and women's track teams head to Fayettville This weekend to compete against some top level teams (Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Oklahoma State and Oregon). I find it interesting that frosh ace Donovan Brazier's name does not appear on the "particant list" as shown on flashresults.com. Hope they are just resting him.

Forgot to mention that UCLA will also compete.

I believe some of the athletes might not be running individual events but only relays and not listed..
Look at the Bib numbers. the missing ones might be athletes running only relays. Bib number 568 is missing from the list for individual events but might be Brazier's Bib number (after Jeff Bartlett) running only relays. I think A&M will likely put strong distance medley relays this weekend.

Triniaggie, I think (hope) you're right. The Ag men have a great shot at running "fast" in both the DMR and 4X4. I'm sure Brazier will be part of both. Florida is again loaded in the shorter race, but the Ags will give them a good run. The SEC network I believe is streaming both day's action.

Very solid performances in the distance medley relays
Even though the women's distance relay team placed 7th, we had two of the fastest splits. Jarra Ovens 54.12 in the 400m split and Jazmine Fray in 205.34 for the 800m. Jazmine's 800m split was faster than the A&M indoor record of 2.07.27 also faster than Oregon's Raevyn Rogers the NCAA outdoor 800m champion. If she could run that fast in the individual event would be be great and definitely make the NCAA indoor championship.
We competed well for the first three legs but our anchor leg was really slow running 5.04.14 for the 1600m final leg. To be competitive we need someone to run 4.45 to 4.50 range for the 1600m,. I don't know if we can get anyone faster. Karis Jochen has not competed since December, Arin Rice since X/C last year and Kelsie Warren seems to be red-shirting this year.

On the men's side we competed very well losing to Oregon and Oklahoma State.On the handover between the first leg Donavan Brazier and Robert Grant, Robert Grant got the baton and was bumped by one of the Oklahoma State athlete and fell but still got up and split 50.10 for 400m. We actually lost about 3 seconds because Robert is a 47 seconds 400m guy. We had the fastest 800m split with Hector Hernandez in 1.47.59 in the 800m. Brazier had the second fastest split in the 1200m behind the Oklahoma state guy. To beat Oregon with Edward Cheserek on the anchor will be a tall order but we can definitely make NCAA and possibly score in the distance medley relay.

Just wondering when the rest of our 400m guys will be healthy to contribute to the 4x400m relay. We have done very well with 400m hurdlers running two legs and a 800m runner running one leg so far.

They should flip some of the legs around on the women. Fray should run the 1200 and Willard the 800. We lost 10 seconds on Katie's leg. If Jazmine runs that leg we're probably only a second or 2 behind on the 1st leg and say Katie loses 3 or 4 seconds on the 800, we've gained time. Arin was injured towards the end of XC season and Kelsie was injured after the 1st XC meet, so I think we see Arin later this year and Kelsie will redshirt.
