UCLA outshot Kansas last night 16-2 and beat them 1-0. The ladies aggies will face UCLA in Los Angeles once they get past Penn State this afternoon. We need to break Penn State's 29 game home winning streak!

I don't know what's going on with the audio. A minute ago it sounded like someone turned the audio on, picked up the mic, and dropped it.

WHOA! It just came on.

2-0 PSU at the half.

I just talked to someone at the game and they said that Penn State is just really, really good. This does not look good for the Aggies.

Am I the only one that thinks this soccer season is just way too short? They started UIL soccer (Texas) my freshman year in high school, and while I didn't play, I could swear they played more than 20 regular season games.

The late season collapse cost the Ags dearly in seeding and quite possibly cost them as many as two rounds of advancement. But they would have had to beat a team like PSU eventually. I think had the season been 5-8 games longer, the late season collapse would have been a mid-season slump that we could have gotten over.

Oh, well. Look forward to next year.

I don't think it is too short. These girls start in August and if they were to win the Championship they would finish in early Dec. That is a lot of soccer. The Aggies this year played 19 regular season and Big 12 tourney games. That could have been 21 if they had won out. If they had advanced further in the NCAA tourney they would have had to play 3 more games. That is a total of 5 more possible games the girls could have played. Bringing the total count to 26 I think. There really wasn't time for anymore regular season games since they played two almost every weekend. The only way to lengthen the season would be to extend it into the summer. Which I doubt the NCAA allows. Also, more games = more money spent for travel and referees and such and lets be honest womens soccer isn't exactly a money machine.

Wow, PSU was so powerful offensively. UCLA must have had a tremendous defensive night.

UCLA has an incredible record of shutouts this year. The ucla-north carolina matchup should be something to watch.
