The girls really dug in hard when they needed to. Both of our matches were neck and neck even though we won in 3 both times.

They played very poorly against Nichols State. We couldn't serve, we couldn't block, etc. NS was the most out of shape (collegiate) team I have ever seen! :0

The match against Wisconsin was neck and neck too...but once we finally got into the 20s, we took off. The 3rd game, we had more control...more confidence.

The OH's and MB's did a nice job adjusting to Wisconsin's RS hitter....she was really good (lefty.) Laura had an awesome solo block. And, I think that was very key. The match had several great rallies...good defense on both teams. I thought Wisconsin's #6 was really good (Zubowsky ?) she reminded me a lot of Stacy Sykora.

The Wisonsin/Arizona match Friday was really good too. Going into it, I thought Arizona would probably win, but knew it would be a good fight.

It was awesome to see Kim Glass (Arizona) play in person. Good Lord! That girl can bomb the ball. She's an amazing hitter.

Off to Huskerville....

Kim Glass's rest of game? Not too good IMHO. Was not worried about playing against her.
