Has anyone been following the World Championships? I have had an insanely busy week and almost forgot they had started.

Did someone at the IAAF have some kind of wild hair and say "this is the year that once and for all I am going to destroy track and field!"?

I lost count of the number of DQs at twenty something. Insane.

Should have put Mr. Kerley as anchor in the
4x400 IMO. The man is steel when it comes to running to win. Took a world indoor record by the Poland team to beat them though.

Losing the 4x400 to Poland was a big WTF. What was Bailey doing on the third leg? He let them back in the race.

I love Fred too but he did get walked in the world outdoors last year in the 4x400

I don't have a problem with him leading off today, indoors you gotta get to the rail off that curve and with his stature he was our best fit for getting that done.

Third leg cost us the race though.

I hadn't thought of your first point, but it's a good one. It's also something I saw a lot of runners struggle to do.
