Them not winning the doubles hurt them.

The was the very definition of a classic Aggie moment. Ouch.
Oh, not losing to an SEC team all year, being the #1 seed, and then blowing two match points in the final match to win the entire thing only to lose via a double fault. You know what exactly what I'm talking about.aginlakeway said:johnnyblaze36 said:

After dominating the 2nd set it looked like Arthur was pretty uninspired. Im sure it's tough to be locked in when your teammate is in command and all you need is 1 point. Makes me wonder if we wouldn't have been better off if AJ loses in straight sets and Arthur is the last man standing with a set to go? Who knows, we still blew way too many chances to serve out sets!

Easy Knute Rockne! I know you've seen many team matches. You can't tell me that when a tight match is about to be clinched, others still playing aren't at least distracted? Arthur is definitely a winner and a helluva teammate! Nonetheless, It was surprising he lost that match no matter what the circumstances were.

We are currently ranked #5 in the ITA rankings. So, if we are seated from 1 to 8 for the NCAA Championships, then we could host the first three rounds of the NCAA Men's Tennis Championships.
Is this correct?
In 2019, it will be like baseball and softball. I thought it was this year. My mistake.bigfoot10s said:Yeah not the same as baseball and softball. Final 16 is at one site.MidTnAg said:

It's harder than it looks, my man. That you can say you can't believe what you saw lets me know you have never had to do it in any sport where the outcome really mattered.Houstonag said:
I watched the last match on TV and could not believe what I witnessed. I use to play tennis years ago. Average but competitive around the city. On match point one has got to put the first serve in. Win it later. Another, he had the M S competitor and tried too aggressively to put him away. Lack of patience cost that match.
Didn't see this until now but wondering how you could be so obtuse. It's kind of similar to the Ags losing in baseball to tcu in 15 innings on a routine throw to the plate for a trip to Omaha.aginlakeway said:johnnyblaze36 said:Oh, not losing to an SEC team all year, being the #1 seed, and then blowing two match points in the final match to win the entire thing only to lose via a double fault. No I don't. That's why I asked. I'm an Aggie. So I have a lot of Aggie moments. Just wanted to know what you meant. Still unsure.
