For a lot of the newer athletes, they'll use the first few meets to decide who to redshirt. Everyone who is healthy will compete, attached or unattached.

Is anyone able to get the streaming of the Reveille Invitational...for some reason i am unable to get it!

Just tried it on the espn app and I couldn't get it. They did start at 3:30 rather than the original 3 starting time.

I left the meet after the 200M events and caught the replay on WatchESPN. Some quick thoughts:

• Broome looked smooth running his 200; didn't like his carry on the 4x4 though.
• Comick looks much better for an early season meet than in the past. New coach and having some good training partners is making a difference.
• Carlton Orange had a nice 1000M run. Hopefully, Dixon and Orange get us big points in the 800.
• Gittens and Acquah looked great. I think they challenge for the school records in the HJ and LJ.
• Machota looks improved too in the HJ.
• 4x4 looks great for both teams. The women didn't run Richardson, Reed, or Madubuike today and still challenged for the meet record. The men have deep group of guys than can run right around 47 or lower indoors.
• Charokee Young looked good on her relay carry.

Young's relay split equaled her outdoor 400 PR (52.4). She's going to make a HUGE impact on our team immediately.

We are incredibly deep int he men's 400. Our men's 'B' 4x400 relay would be good enough to score at NCAA's this year.

Lamar Distin could be an immediate scorer for the Aggies with 1.87m in high jump and 13.37m in triple jump

I have not seen Pole Vaulter Sean Clarke (5.50m) listed yet on the TAMU directory but hopefully he would be listed soon

Our strong events on the women side this indoor season should be 400m, 4x400m, 800m, 60 hurdles, high jump, long jump, triple jump and pentathlon. On the men side should be 60m, 200m, 400m, 4x400m, 800m and hopefully the jumps (long, triple and high), pole vault and 60 hurdles

Ade' Mason a citizen of Great Britain come to Aggieland via Barton County CC and Oklahoma...he was 9th at last years outdoor NC champs with a triple jump mark of 53'-9"

I'll go the over. With where we are on the Olympic cycle, We could get as much 3. 2020/21-21/22 - 22/23 goes pro ahead of Paris 2024.

Possible, guess we see what kind of times she runs, women's 800 without Semenya globally is pretty wide open.

I'd take the over as well - 2 years. She goes pro in 2023 since it's a World Championship year and it gives her a chance to have a year of pro training to sort things out for 2024.

If she makes the team for world's at Hayward in 2021 does that change your mind?

Would depend how she did at worlds. Championshipless seasons the year after that, may as well still be in the NCAA. But if your world champion your world champion, may as well be making the money you can!

If the new "Name Image & Likeness" rules go into effect athletes may be able to stay with their college teams and still make money. We shall see

I feel like that rule could have the biggest affect on track, and that's a good thing

Do you think Deadmon will eventually be the lead leg of the 4x400 to get an early lead like Kerley a few years ago?

It was cool seeing the Baylor vaulter go 19 feet, but it almost seemed detrimental to push for that height early in the season. He grabbed his shoulder a few times

...and Memphis's new jumps coach was a volunteer assistant at A&M last year. That looks awfully shady.
