'Hypocrite' comes to mind reading this thread. If you guys were in Baylor shoes, there would be no talk about 'not repsecting your players' but rather how you beat our ass and you guys were going to be national champions.

Get over it. It is legal, we are #2, if Baylor does it why wouldn't/shouldn't A&M......just shows what a good coach Knoll is. Thanks for coming out.

its all a matter of your respect for american tennis players. Knoll could recruit american kids and do just as good, but then he would have to compete with other coaches. So, he chooses to take the easy way out and go overseas. There are obviously no rules against this. Should there be? I think so. These kids are taking scholarships away from american players, which I dont think is right. But, as long as foreign players are there for the taking, coaches will recruit overseas. fair or not, its going to keep happening, unfortunately for american tennis.

Khaled, Played at Newks for serveral years, he is practically an american junior.

Dakki, Played in Mich. where coach heard or saw about him, coach didnt go to France to suck his co(k like Knoll does with those germs.

Ante, Wrote to coach cass about playing at A&M, coach had not recruited him till that point.

Those are nothing like yalls players, Knoll goes over there are sucks their c0cks and brings them back, we dont do that crap.

I dont give a shat what you say about me or my argument but I think Knoll is a classless coach.

By the way, I went to a crush party tue night with a girl who is friends with Bene and he told her he was suprised he was able to play in america after playing on tour so much in germany. Classy school I must say.

Classy school? Huh?

Bottom line, whether you agree or not, is Knoll gets tennis players that win. What he does is legal, though some might argue whether or not it should be, and because he does this Baylor is a contender for a national championship.

My point is A&M, or any school for that matter, could do the exact same thing. What it sounds like to me is you guys are a bunch of poor losers.....you lose so therefore you resort to blaming our coach for doing something absolutely legal, thats the Ag mentality we have grown to know and love.

I am not happy for the loss but I would be more upset if A&M didnt have any American players. I actually wouldnt follow A&M tennis at all really if everytime I went it was like watching one of those German Pro teams. I just know thats only going to happen once or twice a year when we play gaylor and thats enough german for me.

When you watch A&M tennis, should we assume that you're watching road matches since you were supposedly banned from the A&M tennis facilities for stealing?

Your argument about American vs. foreign tennis players is lame. You've got foreign players as well. Why don't you send them home and give all your scholarships to Americans? While you're at it, should A&M send all foreign students back to their home countries? After all, there are probably plenty of deserving American students who would love to be at A&M but foreigners got their spot instead.

Sic Em- First of all, if you go to baylor, why are you on texags? second of all, did you not read the past posts about our foreign players? they do speak english, half of them hacve been in the states for more than a few months, and our WHOLE team isnt foreign. Knoll wont recruit in America because he knows he would get beat by A&M and Texas and Stanford and Georgia. He knows he cant handle it, so he doesnt even try. I think he is not confident in his coaching, which proves why he gets foreigners, because you dont have to coach them, or you cant, one of the two. You do the math.

What a ridiculous thread. If you would just check Baylor's roster, you would see it is not comprised of all foreign players. We have our share of U.S. players, although they are not as skilled as our Europeans.

I have had the chance to meet several of our European tennis stars, and they are some of the best ambassadors for Baylor University I can think of. All speak excellent English. On more than one occasion I have seen them show up as a team to football and basketball games, decked out in face paint, cheering loudly for the Bears.

These are guys who are here to experience American college life and get an education, not just play tennis.

This thread is just sour grapes, plain and simple.

Great indviduals ahah yeah right. I've a good friend who went to baylor and told me all about those german guys. Not getting into details there not exactly your "All American" boys if you no what I mean.

Aside from that the fact remains knoll could not recurit good american players to go to baylor. The great Americans would not go to waste away at gaylor.

bigfoot, I'm on the board because I occasionally check in to see what is going on with A&M...just like I notice numerous A&M fans on the Baylor boards. I rarely post on this site, but when I see a post bashing BU like this one, I feel compelled to respond.

Knoll not confident of his coaching abilities? You've got to be kidding. Prior to coming to BU, he was a collegiate player, an assistant at South Alabama and Kansas, head coach at Northern Iowa, and spent 4 years as a teaching professional. He's won 3 Big XII Championships and has been named Big XII Coach of the Year 3 times. With those credentials, I'm sure he's feeling very timid, confused and unsure of his coaching abilities.
