Yes, this was for the Big 12 Crown. Both were undefeated in Big 12 play.

Just as in basketball, there is also a Big 12 Tournament at the end of the season.

The Big 12 Conference Tournament will take place in Norman, Oklahoma next week Thursday-Sunday, April 29-May 2.

I dont think that anyone ever replied to your inquisitions...

It takes 6 games to win a set. However if the opponent wins 5 games before you win six, you have to win by 2. Thus, you would have to win 7-5. In all tennis except Davis Cup and Grand Slams, if the score of a set is 6-6, then you go to a tiebreaker. Each point counts as one point (this is the parenthesis beside the scores). The first one to 7 points in the tiebreaker wins the set.

Jessica lost the tiebreaker in the 3rd set 7-2 tonight.

Come out on Saturday at noon when the women take on Kansas. The season isn't over yet. It will be the last home match for the seniors (Jessica Roland, Roberta Spencer, Velvette Canada, and Danielle Lee). Last night was an amazing match even though it ended with a very tough loss. We still need to support these girls so come on out. I never really payed attention to tennis either until last season, but now I am at almost every home match and some of the away matches. It's very fun to watch.
