Lester Cook is currently playing lower seeded Chad Harris of Vanderbilt. Lester lost the first set (6-7) and is trailing in the second set (1-2).

Sadly, Lester and Ante (#2 seed) had to drop out of the doubles competition due to Ante’s shoulder injury.

Lester is now down 2-4 in second set.

Lester, seeded 9-16 and ranked #13 lost in straight sets to Chad Harris of Vandy who was unseeded and ranked #31.

Fellow Big XII player Benjamin Becker(Baylor) is the final four. Wish him luck.

No matter, Benjamin Becker in a close one (6-4, 7-6), is the NCAA Men’s Tennis Champion of 2004. Congratulations to Benjamin and the Baylor Bears.

Now I wish I knew how Baylor is getting such outstanding players. Are the rumors true or are the rumors just rumors and we are crying sour grapes?

Benjamin becker and Bendickt Dorsch where damn near proffesional players before they joined the bears.

Its within the rules so more power to coach Knoll.
