Interesting fact...that was our first ever win in Gainesville. I don't remember where I heard that.
Thanks for the insight. Im a reborn vb fan!! I used go watch them play at G Rollie at every home match during the Sykora and Kristi Smedsrud years ....and on and on...taylorswift13_ said:
Well we have lots of underclassmen
Junior: Nisa Buzultepe
Sophomores: Logan Lednicky, Ava Underwood, Ifenna Cos-Okpalla, Morgan Perkins, Brooke Jeffrey, Lexi Guinn
Freshman: Ital Lopuyo (RS), Margot Manning, Bianna Muoneke, Alayna Pearson
The future is bright! I know we had a 2024 on a visit a couple weeks ago, but I'm not sure if we have any commited! With what we bring back and the promise we've shown, I'm sure we can go grab another high caliber hitter out of the portal to replace Meuth and we only lose Hogan as well! We can go find a couple plug and play players that can contribute!

You can't really judge those results outside of the Georgia and Auburn wins. They lost their all American setter and have a plan b from an NAIA school. While she's doing her job, she didn't see the court in those upsets. Not trying to take away from the amazing win we had, but without Stuckey, this is maybe a top 20 UF team
I know top players are committed 2 years out but is the fact we don't have any in 2024 so far indicative of how selective Morrison is? Or was there just not enough time for a brand new D1 coach?taylorswift13_ said:

yup, while their backup setter was fine, you can tell the set quality wasn't up to Stuckey's level. Top teams have the best setters. I believe when Kentucky won it all a few years ago, they had the best setter in the country.Jack Pearson said:BingoAg4eva95 said:

I think his plan is to backfill with the portal.flintdragon said:I know top players are committed 2 years out but is the fact we don't have any in 2024 so far indicative of how selective Morrison is? Or was there just not enough time for a brand new D1 coach?taylorswift13_ said:
