Still can't believe they won when giving up 2 goals on the same 2:00 power play. Seriously when was the last time a team has given up 2 shortys on the same power play?

Not sure but I did see somewhere that the stars were the first team to win a game in which they gave up 3 short handed goals. Pretty wild
I haven't been able to watch much to start the season; has the goal tending and defense been that poor?
I don't think the defense has been all that bad. The power play is just god awful. 0-fer other than the Anaheim game and 3 short handed goals allowed. Just need to get the new units going, and I think we'll be fine. In the meantime, I'm happy they're racking up points and exercising the OT demons early (even if it is by accident).

Ken Hitchcock and Eddie Belfour were inducted into the Stars Hall of Fame this weekend. Here is a brief article on THN about it with videos of their speeches. Will have to have some of Eddie's bourbon tonight in his honor!
