It was going to be almost impossible to beat col, or any opponent, 4 straight games. Ask the NYR or FLA Panthers about it. The sky is not falling and the best team will win the series. I expect the Stars to win game 6.
It's no surprise that Colorado won. It's just annoying since this was such a winnable game.

I'm just disappointed we missed an opportunity at an extra couple days of rest. I still believe we win this series.
Am I the only one that thinks the Stars' goalie plays too far out too much? I think the Stars would have swept this series but for his positioning. If you look at most of the goals they've given up, he's all the way out in the freakin' concessions line when the Avs take the shot.

Not many. One of his teeth got "knocked back" so they had to pull it early in the game.

I thought one of the biggest issues last night was that the Stars played an entirely too wide open game. Way too much back and forth with the best skating team in the NHL.

I'll add to that and say that COL was much more aggressive, especially from 2P on - more forechecking. The wide openness played into that for them. I think their PP goal at the end of 1P was huge for them. We gotta stay out of the box.
Our third period was bad, but at least it wasn't as bad as the choke the candy canes just put on display. Ouch
