He won stage 16 today by 1:01 to increase his lead to 3:48 over 2nd place. With that said, the time trial today was a mountain stage. The mountain is so steep it is not rated. Lance managed to average 14.5 miles per hour for the time trial. For all those who have ever been on a road bike, that is feaking incredible.

Lance is the man. There may never be another rider with his drive. Now he just has to get to Paris without any major problems and he will claim his 6th tour title.
