Avs or Preds. We don't really have a natural rival because of geography.

IMO the Stars haven't really had one true, longstanding rival. They seem to come and go with playoffs series and realignment. In the 90s and early 00s it was the Avs and Wings. After that the Sharks and Ducks. I would say our current main rival is the Avs again and to a lesser extent the Perds and maybe the Bloos.

Before expansion and Detroit moving to the East, I think most old school fans (especially Minnesota) would say Chicago, Detroit and St. Louis.

I generally view the Avalanche as the #1 long time rival, if not just because the Avalanche and Stars franchises have followed remarkably similar trajectories. Both have been at their best at the same times and both were wandering the wilderness at the same time

As a big Stars fan I never liked Edmonton or Colorado. Now Vegas and Colorado/Edmonton still can suck a big one
